  5. WOW !! What a nice boat. I havent been following your threads on other sites because frankly I dont have the time. I have been working (just maintenance) on our 43′ Hatteras. Now that you’ve jumped into the fire you will find out first hand what living on a boat is about. I’ll follow you and maybe our wakes will cross. Feel free to e-mail me anytime and I can share our experiences. Best of luck.

    • Thanks Pate!!! We are very excited. Maybe we will cross pathes at some point, how fun. Thanks for the offer, I sure will reach out when I need some good advice 🙂

  6. Wow! You are about to live the life I have often wanted but feared to start. I will Be 71 on Wednesday and I still think there might be time for me to set free of land. Best wishes – live life now so there are no regrets.

  9. Donna and I have been watching your progress and we finally had a look at your new home! Congrats!!! We have lived aboard for 20+years in the VI and raised only one child, can’t imagine 5!!! Swallowed the anchor some 10 yr. age but still enjoy staying in touch with so many friends we have in the boating community. You will enjoy all the special people you will meet and enjoy. You have our good wishes and have fair winds–Donna and Ray

    • Thanks so much Donna and Ray!!! Your right, we have already met a bunch of great boating folks and are looking forward to meeting more. Thank you for the well-wishes.
